~::-::Future Ahead::-::~

just a few more month then i will graduate from UiTM in Bachelor of Science Information Studies (Honors) (Records Management) from Information Studies Faculty.. Even the lecturer said that Faculty graduation, 95% above will get a job, i still afraid because it's not easy for a fresh graduate like me to get a good job.. Compare to others fresh graduate who are ANC candidates, i just a small pieces that drop from faculty waiting for a chance to get a break through and have a good job.. But i look forward to involve in working environment actually and will further my study to a master level if i got a chance.. Nowadays, there a lot of degree or bachelor graduate that waiting, searching and working.. In next 4 or 5 years, i think all job level will need at least a diploma and degree to survive in working environment.. Nowadays, a clerk needs a diploma and some of them degree.. So, what i need to do now is keep those hard work and never give up.. There are future ahead waiting for me..~::~

The award honours the university’s commitment to deliver its promises and meet the expectations of its students, parents and the community at large. Shad Saleem Faruqi Named Professor Emeritus

With 37 years of distinguished and exemplary service to the university, Shad Saleem Faruqi has certainly surpassed all of the qualities necessary for the designation of Professor Emeritus. He is more than just a faculty member - renowned scholar, dedicated educator and institutional cornerstone, Prof. Shad, as he is fondly known, has played a pivotal role in the Law Faculty’s and the university’s rise to prominence.
A legal scholar, Prof. Shad has been a full time member of the Law Faculty since1971. He has sought to share his love for and wisdom of the law with thousands of students at the faculty. What always impressed students about Prof. Shad was his intellect, his quick wit, his deft and brilliant pedagogy. He kept them on their toes and fully engaged, enjoying his classes and his students as much as he was enriching their law school experience.
As a principled and caring citizen, his interests go beyond the classroom. He has consistently advocated that the law should not only be the privilege of those in the ivory tower, but that it should be easily accessed and understood by the layman, especially those from disadvantaged and lesser backgrounds such as single mothers and the elderly folks from the villages. He ingrained this belief in his students, often demanding of them extraordinary efforts not only as lawyers but also as respectable citizens.
Prof Shad’s fount of institutional wisdom has been drawn upon in various leading roles; as the head of the Diploma in Law programme(1979-1984), as Assistant Rector (1999-2000), as Assistan Vice-Chancellor (2001-2002) and also as the first Legal Advisor for the University. He was instrumental in drafting the Diploma in Law, the Advanced Diploma in Law as well the Bachelor of Legal Studies and the LLB programmes.
As the University’s first Legal Advisor, Prof. Shad drafted the Institut Teknologi MARA Act (Amendment) 1996 and the Institut Teknologi MARA Act (Amendment) 2000 which converted ITM from an Institute to a full-fledged university. To each of these tasks, he lent his clarity of thought and expression, his immense knowledge and his understanding of the practicalities of running any institution. The roles he played profoundly influenced the university.
Prof Shad’s scholarship has also had a profound impact on the legal world, particularly in the realm of constitutional law. He has been involved in the drafting of laws for the Malaysian Attorney-General’s office, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Government of the state of Sabah, the Government of the state of Kelantan, the government of the state of Selangor, Parliament of Malaysia, the Royal Malaysia Police and the Bar Council of Malaya. He was also appointed the Chairman of the National Committee to draft amendments to the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971.
Over the years, he has earned respect throughout the country and abroad. His expert views have been sought by the University of Melbourne, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the President of Maldives, the Law Society of the Maldives, the Phillipine based International Legislative Support Services Association, the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentaey Organisation and the Asia Foundation, amongst a very long list of international honours.
This award honours excellence in character, excellence in teaching and scholarship, excellence in leadership, and excellence in dedication to the Law faculty and the university. It is altogether fitting for the University to record its enduring gratitude to Professor Shad Saleem Faruqi by electing him as its first Professor Emeritus.

Kehidupan Di Kampus...

Kata orang bila da masuk U, smua senang, smua da tersedia, masa time skola memang cita2 nak masuk U sebb taknak blaja byak and paling penting dapat pegang duit byak kan (loan la). Tpi bila da msuk, pergh!!! baru tahu seksa nya blaja nie, aku dlu bukan skolah asrma, mula2 tu mmang agak2 sedih gak la bila tgok umi aku blik n tinggalkan aku kat kolej (masa tu aku blaja kt UiTM Machang, Kelantan), tapi bila da dalam sebulan dua tu, aku da leh da biasakan diri. Masa semester 1 memang tak trasa sgat ssah campus life nie, stakat kena ragging ngan snior tu ape la sgat kan, tapi bila da msuk semester 2 tu, aku da mula da start rasa ssah (mula2 sebab loan kena ptong, sbb msa sem 1 aku ade amik yang 1500 tu) nak kena berjimat gila2, klau tak msak la hidup, n sperti yng d jangka, duit mmg tak mengckupi, klau aku anak orang kaya xpela kan.. aduiyai.. Dan start sem 2 la, aku mula knal orang2 kt dunia, mcm2 jenis ade, kaki penipu, kaki berlagak, kaki hipokrit, ade yang nak jtuhkan member, ade yang bwak mlut dgan crita2 yg xbtul, ade yang suka nk tgok orang bergaduh, ade gak yang suka cari psal dan macm2 lagi la, sampai aku da naek muak. Dunia cople, ni paling indah kan kat campus, dunia couple la sebab parents xde nak sekat kita kan, n dorang xleh gak lrang kita nak wat pe pun kan, tapi sebenarnya dunia couple ni la yang boleh jatuhkan kita dari menara yang tinggi tu (menara gading la), ingat la, kita da daki tinggi2 kan, jangan sampai terjatuh sebab kelalaian kita dalam bercouple nie. bukanya aku kta xleh bercouple, tapi hati2 jgan lalai, korang bercouple dgan cara yang sihat pun OK gak, maksud aku bercouple untk mndapat gred yang tggi dlam stdy korang, bertanding ngan GF/BF korang tu sape yang dapat pointer pling tggi, kan OK cmtu, dpat gak bantu kita dalam pembelajaran. Tapi bagi aku la, yang pling perit smsa campus life nie, bila kena repeat paper, aduhla, mak ai..peritnya nak amik balik benda yang da belajar tu.. mmang aku tak pernah repeat paper, and aku pun hrap2 takde la aku repeat paper nie, tp kan, leh fkir sendri keperitan dia, nk berdepan ngn lecturer, junior2 lg, lpas tu blaja bnda yg kita da tahu kan. Aduhla..
Skang aku da smbung degree dekat UiTM Shah Alam, Kampus Puncak Perdana, dan aku msih lgi hidup di kampus, and bertambah jauh lagi ngn umi aku, hrap aku dpat habes kan degree ontime la.. Sebab degree lagi ssah dari diploma.. Sape2 yang bca post nie, korang fikirla sendri cmne campus life korang, n ape korang leh wat tuk jadi lagi baik dari sebelum nie.. adios..
