lpas tu baek... then jadi blik... naik.. jadi blik...
xthan r.. huhuhu... nsib de ubay.. klau x... siap la aku d buatnya... huhuhuhu...

Influenza A ( H1N1 ) Alert!

Is an acute respiratory infection caused by Influenza A virus (H1N1 subtype). It is spreading very fast to several countries including Malaysia as a result of the appearance of new form of Influenza A virus ( novel ) which is due to genetic mutation processes. Therefore, everyone is at risk once exposed to this virus due to absence of immunity in human body. It also considered as contagious diseases which can be transmitted from human to human.

According to World Health Organisation ( WHO ), these Influenza A ( H1N1 ) outbreak did occurred in 1918 which causing death to more than 50 millions peoples worldwide. Till 30th June 2009, there are 71076 reported cases in 116 countries which result in 311 deaths.

ROUTE OF INFECTION

This communicable diseases can be spread through :

1. Direct contact with infected person ( via cough droplet or sneeze )
2. Surfaces contaminated with Influenza A viruses ( H1N1 )

SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA A ( H1N1 )

1. High fever ( > 38 * C )
2. Cough
3. Sore throat
4. Difficulty in breathing
5. Bodyache / myalgia

SUSPECTED CASES

If YOU have the above symptoms

AND

a. Have direct contact with Influenza A ( H1N1 ) confirmed cases such as boarding with the same car / aircraft or staying in the same house

OR

b. recent ( within a week ) travel / visit to the areas which posses Influenza A ( H1N1 ) cases.

YOU are advised to seek immediate treatment at any government hospital

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Please kindly take note of these measures :

1. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Do practice cough ettiquette accordingly
2. Wash your hands with soap and adequate water after cough / sneeze or touching any polluted / contaminated surface
3. Proper housekeeping
4. You must use an appropriate protective mask if you are infected with Influenza A ( H1N1 )
5. AVOID direct contact with Influenza A ( H1N1 ) cases or any crowded area
6. Please seek immediate treatment if you having Influenza A ( H1N1 ) symptoms
7. Travel to the affected area / country should be AVOIDED
8. Practice good personal hygiene at all time and have a balanced diet

Malaysia’s Trusted Brand: UiTM Wins Award in “Universities” Category

Universiti Teknnologi MARA (UiTM) has been awarded the 2009 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands in the category of “universities” in Malaysia, reflecting the continued trust and confidence the people of Malaysia have in the University.

The award honours the university’s commitment to deliver its promises and meet the expectations of its students, parents and the community at large. Simon Cholmeley, Group Advertising Director for Reader’s Digest Asia says, “The winners of the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards are the leaders in their categories – the top choices of consumers. These brands have proven their commitment to quality, value, innovation, and to answering consumers’ everyday needs.”

Initiated in 1998, the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand research study is recognized as one of the most representative and objective branding surveys in the region. The survey is based on responses received from 1000 telephone and postal interviews conducted across different sectors of Malaysian society. Respondents are asked to rate the university they name on six factors: Trustworthiness & Credibility, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, Innovation, and Social Responsibility.

UiTM Vice-Chancellor, Dato’ Seri Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abu Shah said that the award was a fantastic achievement for the university. “We are proud to receive the award as it is an endorsement of our continuous efforts to evolve and update in order to provide the best teaching methods and facilities for our students. We have place renewed emphasis on quality improvement as well as research and innovation so as to achieve greater heights in academic excellence”. The Vice-Chancellor also expressed his appreciation to the Malaysian people for their vote of confidence and trust in UiTM.

Shad Saleem Faruqi Named Professor Emeritus

With 37 years of distinguished and exemplary service to the university, Shad Saleem Faruqi has certainly surpassed all of the qualities necessary for the designation of Professor Emeritus. He is more than just a faculty member - renowned scholar, dedicated educator and institutional cornerstone, Prof. Shad, as he is fondly known, has played a pivotal role in the Law Faculty’s and the university’s rise to prominence.

A legal scholar, Prof. Shad has been a full time member of the Law Faculty since1971. He has sought to share his love for and wisdom of the law with thousands of students at the faculty. What always impressed students about Prof. Shad was his intellect, his quick wit, his deft and brilliant pedagogy. He kept them on their toes and fully engaged, enjoying his classes and his students as much as he was enriching their law school experience.

As a principled and caring citizen, his interests go beyond the classroom. He has consistently advocated that the law should not only be the privilege of those in the ivory tower, but that it should be easily accessed and understood by the layman, especially those from disadvantaged and lesser backgrounds such as single mothers and the elderly folks from the villages. He ingrained this belief in his students, often demanding of them extraordinary efforts not only as lawyers but also as respectable citizens.

Prof Shad’s fount of institutional wisdom has been drawn upon in various leading roles; as the head of the Diploma in Law programme(1979-1984), as Assistant Rector (1999-2000), as Assistan Vice-Chancellor (2001-2002) and also as the first Legal Advisor for the University. He was instrumental in drafting the Diploma in Law, the Advanced Diploma in Law as well the Bachelor of Legal Studies and the LLB programmes.

As the University’s first Legal Advisor, Prof. Shad drafted the Institut Teknologi MARA Act (Amendment) 1996 and the Institut Teknologi MARA Act (Amendment) 2000 which converted ITM from an Institute to a full-fledged university. To each of these tasks, he lent his clarity of thought and expression, his immense knowledge and his understanding of the practicalities of running any institution. The roles he played profoundly influenced the university.

Prof Shad’s scholarship has also had a profound impact on the legal world, particularly in the realm of constitutional law. He has been involved in the drafting of laws for the Malaysian Attorney-General’s office, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Government of the state of Sabah, the Government of the state of Kelantan, the government of the state of Selangor, Parliament of Malaysia, the Royal Malaysia Police and the Bar Council of Malaya. He was also appointed the Chairman of the National Committee to draft amendments to the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971.

Over the years, he has earned respect throughout the country and abroad. His expert views have been sought by the University of Melbourne, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the President of Maldives, the Law Society of the Maldives, the Phillipine based International Legislative Support Services Association, the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentaey Organisation and the Asia Foundation, amongst a very long list of international honours.

This award honours excellence in character, excellence in teaching and scholarship, excellence in leadership, and excellence in dedication to the Law faculty and the university. It is altogether fitting for the University to record its enduring gratitude to Professor Shad Saleem Faruqi by electing him as its first Professor Emeritus.

AKU d Kampung...

amat tenang sekarang bila da abes final kan.. besh lak rsanya...da blik kmpung neh... bbas sket.. mcm2 leh aku wat... aku leh maen futsal... bola... merempit... maen badminton... bsing2... lpak ngn member... surf tenet kt mydin mall smpi lwat2 pg... keh3... mcm2 lg r... ahaks... lpas tu.. yg cerdiknya... aku mmg blik ni bersebab yg agak besar... rindu kuarga tu mmg r.. stu lgi.. sbbnya aku nk kcau adik aku.. aku suka kcau dia.. hehehe... bru 3,4 bulan tak jmpa da rindu gila2... hahahaha... da lma da xnyakat adik aku neh... baru2 neh aku nyakat dia ngn aku ckap kt dia aku ltak myak dlam aquarium yg de ikan ksygan dia... kah3!!!!

Final Exam

KISAH MALAIKAT JIBRIL DAN MALAIKAT MIKAIL MENANGIS

Dalam sebuah kitab karangan Imam al-Ghazali menyebutkan bahawa iblis itu sesungguhnya namanya disebut sebagai al-Abid (ahli ibadah) pada langit yang pertama, pada langit yang keduanya disebut az-Zahid. Pada langit ketiga, namanya disebut al-Arif. Pada langit keempat, namanya adalah al-Wali. Pada langit kelima, namanya disebut at-Taqi. Pada langit keenam namanya disebut al-Kazin. Pada langit ketujuh namanya disebut Azazil manakala dalam Luh Mahfudz, namanya ialah iblis.

Dia (iblis) lupa akibat urusannya. Maka Allah S.W.T telah memerintahkannya sujud kepada Adam. Lalu iblis berkata, "Adakah Engkau mengutamakannya daripada aku, sedangkan aku lebih baik daripadanya. Engkau jadikan aku daripada api dan Engkau jadikan Adam daripada tanah."

Lalu Allah S.W.T berfirman yang maksudnya, "Aku membuat apa yang aku kehendaki." Oleh kerana iblis memandang dirinya penuh keagungan, maka dia enggan sujud kepada Adam A.S kerana bangga dan sombong.

Dia berdiri tegak sampai saatnya malaikat bersujud dalam waktu yang berlalu. Ketika para malaikat mengangkat kepala mereka, mereka mendapati iblis tidak sujud sedang mereka telah selesai sujud. Maka para malaikat bersujud lagi bagi kali kedua kerana bersyukur, tetapi iblis tetap angkuh dan enggan sujud. Dia berdiri tegak dan memaling dari para malaikat yang sedang bersujud. Dia tidak ingin mengikut mereka dan tidak pula dia merasa menyesal atas keengganannya.

Kemudian Allah S.W.T merubahkan mukanya pada asalnya yang sangat indah cemerlangan kepada bentuk seperti babi hutan. Allah S.W.T membentukkan kepalanya seperti kepala unta, dadanya seperti daging yang menonjol di atas punggung, wajah yang ada di antara dada dan kepala itu seperti wajah kera, kedua matanya terbelah pada sepanjang permukaan wajahnya. Lubang hidungnya terbuka seperti cerek tukang bekam, kedua bibirnya seperti bibir lembu, taringnya keluar seperti taring babi hutan dan janggut terdapat sebanyak tujuh helai.

Setelah itu, lalu Allah mengusirnya dari syurga, bahkan dari langit, dari bumi dan ke beberapa jazirah. Dia tidak akan masuk ke bumi melainkan dengan cara sembunyi. Allah S.W.T melaknatinya sehingga ke hari kiamat kerana dia menjadi kafir. Walaupun iblis itu pada sebelumnya sangat indah cemerlang rupanya, mempunyai sayap emapt, banyak ilmu, banyak ibadah serta menjadi kebanggan para malaikat dan pemukanya, dan dia juga pemimpin para malaikat karubiyin dan banyak lagi, tetapi semua itu tidak menjadi jaminan sama sekali baginya.

Ketika Allah S.W.T membalas tipu daya iblis, maka menangislah Jibril A.S dan Mikail. Lalu Allah S.W.T berfirman yang bermaksud, "Apakah yang membuat kamu menangis?" Lalu mereka menjawab, "Ya Allah! Kami tidaklah aman dari tipu dayamu."

Firman Allah bagi bermaksud, "Begitulah aku. Jadilah engkau berdua tidak aman dari tipu dayaku."

Setelah diusir, maka iblis pun berkata, "Ya Tuhanku, Engkau telah mengusir aku dari Syurga disebabkan Adam, dan aku tidak menguasainya melainkan dengan penguasaan-Mu."

Lalu Allah berfirman yang bermaksud, "Engkau dikuasakan atas dia, yakni atas anak cucunya, sebab para nabi adalah maksum."

Berkata lagi iblis, "Tambahkanlah lagi untukku." Allah berfirman yang maksudnya, "Tidak akan dilahirkan seorang anak baginya kecuali tentu dilahirkan untukmu dua padanya."

Berkata iblis lagi, "Tambahkanlah lagi untukku." Lalu Allah berfirman dengan maksud, "Dada-dada mereka adalah rumahmu, engkau berjalan di sana sejalan dengan peredaran darah."

Berkata iblis lagi, "Tambahkanlah lagi untukku." Maka Allah berfirman lagi yang bermaksud, "Dan kerahkanlah terhadap mereka pasukan berkuda dan pasukan yang berjalan kaki, ertinya mintalah tolong menghadapi mereka dengan pembantu-pembantumu, baik yang naik kuda mahupun yang berjalan kaki. Dan berserikatlah dengan mereka pada harta, iaitu mendorong mereka mengusahakannya dan mengarahkannya ke dalam haram."

"Dan pada anak-anak, iaitu dengan menganjurkan mereka dalam membuat perantara mendapat anak dengan cara yang dilarang, seperti melakukan senggama dalam masa haid, berbuat perkara-perkara syirik mengenai anak-anak itu dengan memberi nama mereka Abdul Uzza, menyesatkan mereka dengan cara mendorong ke arah agama yang batil, mata pencarian yang tercela dan perbuatan-perbuatan yang jahat dan berjanjilah mereka." (Hal ini ada disebutkan dalamsurah al-Isra ayat 64 yang bermaksud : "Gerakkanlah orang yang engkau kuasai di antara mereka dengan suara engkau dan kerahkanlah kepada mereka tentera engkau yang berkuda dan yang berjalan kaki dan serikanlah mereka pada harta dan anak-anak dan berjanjilah kepada mereka. Tak ada yang dijanjikan iblis kepada mereka melainkan (semata-mata) tipuan."
