How to fast healthily during Ramadan
Don't skip breakfast (Suhoor) Even though sleep may seem far more appealing than waking up to force down some food, don't skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Research has shown that breakfast provides the essential energy and nutrients needed for concentration, while keeping hunger symptoms like headaches, fatigue, drowsiness and restlessness at bay. In addition, it speeds our metabolic rates. It is therefore vital to ensure an adequate intake at breakfast time.
Eat a wide variety of foods When your daily intake is limited to two meals per day, you need to put extra effort into including foods from all the food groups. Our bodies need at least 40 different nutrients daily, to ensure that we grow properly and maintain good health. Although most foods contain more than one nutrient, no single food provides all the necessary nutrients. Moreover, foods have benefits that can't be replicated by a pill. So it is important to eat a wide variety of foods every day, to ensure that we get all of these nutrients. Select foods each day from each of the five food groups:
· Breads, cereals and other grain products
· Fruit and vegetables
· Meat, fish and poultry
· Milk, cheese and yoghurt
· Fats and sugars (these are low in nutrients & high in calories, so limit intake!)
Eat low glycaemic (GI) foods at breakfast to help control blood sugar levels Carbohydrates are classified according to their glucose response or glyceamic index (GI). The GI measures how fast the carbohydrate of a particular food is converted to glucose and enters the bloodstream. The lower the GI, the slower the food is converted to sugar and the longer it satisfies your hunger. Selecting low GI foods helps maintain normal blood sugar, minimises hunger pangs & satisfies appetite without providing excess calories. Also, by controlling blood sugar levels, you prevent excessive eating binges as a result of low blood sugar levels. Remember to include low GI foods at each meal, and to avoid eating high GI foods on their own, but rather to mix them with low GI foods, which will give an intermediate GI overall.
Be aware of your cooking methods By making small changes in your cooking habits, you can create great-tasting foods that are also healthy for you. Many of those treasured family-favourite recipes have a very high fat content for today's health-conscious living. Don't give up on your favourites – just convert them! Here's how:
· Always trim off excess fat from before cooking, or use venison, chicken and soya as lower fat options. Remove poultry skin & choose light meat (eg. breast).
· Cut down on fat intake during cooking:
- cook onions in a little water or vegetable stock rather than oil or butter
- use non-stick frying pans & non-stick sprays rather than oil or margarine
- bake, grill or roast foods rather than frying
- cook roasted meat or poultry on a wire rack so that the fat can drip off
- Steam or boil vegetables
- when preparing rice, noodles & other grains, season with herbs, spices & broths rather than added fat
- prepare soups, gravies & sauces in advance, so that they can be refrigerated, allowing you to remove the layer of fat that forms on top.
- Use herbs and spices to add flavour & zest to low-fat cooking. Basil, bay leaf, oregano, & rosemary add distinctive flavours & colours to meat & vegetables. Spices, like cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg enhance the sweet taste of foods, & seasoning blends, such as chilli powder, curry powder provide a complex array of flavours
· Avoid taking in too much salt
- Use garlic, dry mustard, pepper, onions, mushrooms & tomatoes to add flavour to meat and vegetables - Add sliced lemon or lemon juice to white meats & fish
· Make healthy changes to recipes Cut the fat in half - if a recipe requires cream or whole milk, use evaporated or fresh skim milk. If a recipe requires a whole egg, use two egg whites, etc.
Eat enough carbohydrate foods - especially those rich in fibre These foods provide the body with energy. They are rich in B vitamins, and are an excellent source of fibre. Hi-fibre foods also fill you up more than low-fibre counterparts. Foods high in fibre include brown rice, wholegrains, fresh fruit and raw veggies.
Remember your fruits and vegetables Fruit and vegetables add colour and variety to the menu. They are "protective" foods as they help the body fight off sickness and disease. They are also rich sources of a variety of vitamins, minerals, and fibre, and are low in calories.
Drink sufficient fluid Always include water in your diet, and cut down on caffeine-containing beverages. Caffeine is a diuretic and will not provide adequate hydration.
We all know that maintaining a balanced diet by eating healthily has a vital influence on your well being. Try following the above principles so that this fast period does not sway too much from the principles of good nutrition.
Ramadhan: Fadhilat

Layu - Malique and Tun Dr Mahathir
tidak ada yang lebih menyayat
dari melihat bangsaku di jajah
tidak ada yang lebih menyedihkan
dari membiarkan bangsaku di hina
aku lihat layu dalam melayu
aku pasti bukan aku sorang saja yang nampak
ada juga bercadang bertanya tuan punya
tapi bercampur risau dengan tidak tergamak
nanti dikata tidak bersyukur tidak sedar diri
jadi aku menyendiri
memerhati...
dan akhirnya mengakui...
yang kita sendiri...
membiarkan bunga raya me layu ke kanan
tapi angin api kita lupa....
mereka merancang masa menjilat bangsa
13 harimau bertukar menjadi mangsa
kita lupa....
nenek moyang kaya raya
jangan sekali-kali di gadai harta bendanya
ku lihat layu dalam melayu (3x)
tak kan melayu hilang di dunia
ya...
orang berbudi kita hanya tahu merasa
selalu lari bila dirapat
selalu malu bila soalan di aju
selalu segan memberi pendapat
rela mengikut dari meneraju
belum menyanyi sudah bersorak
suka berjanji dalam borak
bukan kata takde otak
cuma tak berfikir di luar kotak
ku lihat layu dalam melayu (3x)
aku jadi sayu
bunga menangis dia mendayu
mahu jadi cantik tapi ragu
aku merayu....
bangunlah semula hidup kembali
jangan tunggu matahari mati
cepatlah mekar sebelum terlerai
perjuangan kita belum selesai (3x)
perjuangan kita belum selesai
kerana hanya yang kekal dan tabah
dapat membina mercu tanda
bangsanya yang berjaya..

Records Management
Definitions of records management
Practicing records management
- Planning the information needs of an organisation
- Identifying information requiring capture
- Creating, approving, and enforcing policies and practices regarding records, including their organization and disposal
- Developing a records storage plan, which includes the short and long-term housing of physical records and digital information
- Identifying, classifying, and storing records
- Coordinating access to records internally and outside of the organization, balancing the requirements of business confidentiality, data privacy, and public access.
- Executing a retention policy on the disposal of records which are no longer required for operational reasons; according to organizational policies, statutory requirements, and other regulations this may involve either their destruction or permanent preservation in an archive.
- setting policies and standards;
- assigning responsibilities and authorities;
- establishing and promulgating procedures and guidelines;
- providing a range of services relating to the management and use of records;
- designing, implementing and administering specialized systems for managing records; and
- integrating records management into business systems and processes.
Managing physical records
- Identifying records
- If an item is presented as a legal record, it needs to be authenticated. Forensic experts may need to examine a document or artifact to determine that it is not a forgery, and that any damage, alteration, or missing content is documented. In extreme cases, items may be subjected to a microscope, x-ray, radiocarbon dating or chemical analysis. This level of authentication is rare, but requires that special care be taken in the creation and retention of the records of an organization.
- Storing records
- Records must be stored in such a way that they are accessible and safeguarded against environmental damage. A typical paper document may be stored in a filing cabinet in an office. However, some organisations employ file rooms with specialized environmental controls including temperature and humidity. Vital records may need to be stored in a disaster-resistant safe or vault to protect against fire, flood, earthquakes and conflict. In extreme cases, the item may require both disaster-proofing and public access, such as the original, signed US Constitution. Civil engineers may need to be consulted to determine that the file room can effectively withstand the weight of shelves and file cabinets filled with paper; historically, some military vessels were designed to take into account the weight of their operating procedures on paper as part of their ballastequation[citation needed] (modern record-keeping technologies have transferred much of that information to electronic storage). In addition to on-site storage of records, many organizations operate their own off-site records centers or contract with commercial records centers.
- Circulating records
- Tracking the record while it is away from the normal storage area is referred to as circulation. Often this is handled by simple written recording procedures. However, many modern records environments use a computerized system involving bar code scanners, or radio-frequency identification technology (RFID) to track movement of the records. These can also be used for periodic auditing to identify unauthorized movement of the record.
- Disposal of records
- Disposal of records does not always mean destruction. It can also include transfer to a historical archive, museum, or private individual. Destruction of records ought to be authorized by law, statute, regulation, or operating procedure, and the records should be disposed of with care to avoid inadvertent disclosure of information. The process needs to be well-documented, starting with a records retention schedule and policies and procedures that have been approved at the highest level. An inventory of the records disposed of should be maintained, including certification that they have been destroyed. Records should never simply be discarded as refuse. Most organizations use processes including pulverization, paper shredding or incineration.
Education and certification
Many colleges and universities offer degree programs in library and information sciences which cover records management. Furthermore, there are professional organizations such as the Records Management Association of Australasia (RMAA) and the Institute of Certified Records Managers which provides a separate, non-degreed, professional certification for practitioners, the Certified Records Manager designation or CRM. Additional educational opportunities in the form of a certificate program are also available from AIIM International, ARMA, and from the Records Management Society in Great Britain and Ireland. Education and training courses and workshops on scientific and technical records full lifecycle management and the Quality Electronic Records Practices Standards (Q-ERPS) are available from the Collaborative Electronic Notebook Systems Association (CENSA). The University of South Australia offers a Graduate Certificate, a Graduate Diploma, and an MSc in Business Information Management and Library and Information Management with a specialist stream in records management. A recent addition to records management education in the United States is the MARA - Master of Archives and Records Management degree program, offered by the San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science. In today world, only in Malaysia have a degree level of Records Management program. It was in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). But, Malaysia aren't taking a serious matter about records management making graduation are hard to find a job with goverment. Maybe a low awareness about the important of records in Malaysia cost all those graduation have a low opportunity to work with their goverment.Kampus UiTM Puncak Perdana

Kubur Berkata - Kata
1. Ali bin Abi Talib (suami Fatimah r.a)
2. Hasan (anak Fatima r.a)
3. Husin (anak Faimah r.a)
4. Abu Dzafrrin Al-Ghifary r.a
1. Hendaklah ia menjaga solatnya
2. Hendaklah dia bersedekah
3. Hendaklah dia membaca al-Quran
Ia jadi suka termenung
dan matanya sering menerawang jauh. Jemari tangannya sibuk ketak-ketik di
atas tombol telpon genggamnya, sambil sesekali tertawa renyah, berbalas
pesan dengan pujaan hatinya. Di lain waktu dia uring-uringan, namun begitu
mendengar nada panggil polyphonic dari alat komunikasi kecil andalannya
itu, wajahnya seketika merona. Lagu-lagu romantis menjadi akrab di
telinganya.
bertema cinta. Tak cuma menghayati, kini dia pun menjadi penyair yang
mampu menggubah puisi cinta. Sesekali dilantunkannya bait-bait syair.
"Cinta adalah kejujuran dan kepasrahan yang total. Cinta mengarus lembut,
mesra, sangat dalam dan sekaligus intelek. Cinta ibarat mata air abadi
mencintainya sebagaimana mereka mencintai Allah.
melalui indikator perasaan cintanya.
bagaimana manusia seharusnya menyusun skala prioritas cintanya. Urutan
mencurahkan semua perasaan hanya kepada-Nya.
timbul kalau-kalau Dia menjauhinya, bahkan hatinya merana tatkala
membayangkan azab Rabb-nya akibat kealpaannya. Yang lebih dahsyat lagi,
qalbunya selalu bergetar manakala mendengar nama-Nya disebut. Singkatnya,
hatinya tenang bila selalu mengingat-Nya. Benar-benar sebuah cinta yang
sempurna... Puji syukur ya Allah, saya menjadi lebih paham sekarang! Cinta
memang anugerah yang terindah dari Maha Pencipta. Tapi banyak manusia
seperti kasus sahabat saya tadi.
syariat-Nya yaitu bersegera membentuk keluarga sakinah, mawaddah, penuh
Alangkah indahnya Islam! Di dalamnya ada syariat yang mengatur bagaimana
seharusnya manusia mengelola perasaan cintanya, sehingga menghasilkan
Wallahua'lam
bish-showab.
Definisi Cinta Dalam Quran
Jika taknak disakiti, kita tak menyakitkan hati orang lain.
Indahnya…..

War Crime...!!!
The execution of Soviet prisoners of war by German personnel.
Similar concepts, such as perfidy, have existed for many centuries as customary law between civilized countries. Many of these customary laws were clarified in the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907. The modern concept of war crime was further developed under the auspices of the Nuremberg Trials based on the definition in the London Charter that was published on August 8, 1945. Along with war crimes the charter also defined crimes against peace and crimes against humanity, which are often committed during wars and in concert with war crimes.
Article 22 of the Hague IV ("Laws of War: Laws and Customs of War on Land (Hague IV); October 18, 1907") states that "The right of belligerents to adopt means of injuring the enemy is not unlimited" and over the last century many other treaties have introduced positive laws that place constraints on belligerents (see International treaties on the laws of war). Some of the provisions, such as those in the Hague conventions, are considered to be part of customary international law, and are binding on all. Others are only binding on individuals if the belligerent power to which they belong is a party to the treaty which introduced the constraint.
War crimes are significant in international humanitarian law because it is an area where international tribunals such as the Nuremberg Trials and Tokyo trials have been convened. Recent examples are the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, which were established by the UN Security Council acting under Chapter VIII of the UN Charter.
Under the Nuremberg Principles, war crimes are different from crimes against peace which is planning, preparing, initiating, or waging a war of aggression, or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements, or assurances.
